Description:
I would recommend listening to these singles. Hometown Hero is very peaceful, an acoustic driven track that will be sure to bring a calm feeling to anyone who listens. By Now is more rock driven with prominent bass and drums. These two singles do not necessarily go together, as they have very different sounds. The vocal qualities are different in both tracks. These two singles make me curious and unsure to what the whole album would sound like, as they are going in very different directions. I preferred Hometown Hero as it sounded more passionate and sincere, whereas By Now sounded more like something I had heard before. By Now gave me more Pop Rock vibes. I do not see the same music taste enjoying both tracks as they are that different from each other. Perhaps in the context of the whole album listeners will be able to understand the connection more. I appreciated the guitar on both tracks, the light and gentle sound on Hometown Hero and the more energetic and bright sound on By Now. The story told in Hometown Hero was very wholesome and you could understand his emotional voice to follow the story.
