How to Join KAMP Student Radio | FAll 2023 |

​If you are a full-time student, staff, or faculty member at the University of Arizona, you are eligible to join our awesome team at KAMP Student Radio!

​

Who are KAMP Members and what are their roles??

Members of KAMP uphold the mission statement of the station to be an inclusive, fun, and safe environment to share ideas, music, and stories with our listeners and readers in our community. 

​

KAMPers are...

  • Content creators for the station's website (music, concert, sports, entertainment reviews, and more)

  • Live radio show hosts for our online and AM radio stream

  • Podcasters, live mobile dj crew members, concert photographers, and more

 

You might be asking, "Do I need any experience to join KAMP"?

The answer is NO! :D  We will teach you everything you need to know on how to be a great future contributor at KAMP.

HOW TO BECOME A KAMPER

STEP 1

Learn about KAMP and what it means to be a member of KAMP by watching the video below (5-6min).

STEP 2

Take a short quiz on the video (must receive an 8/10 to pass), and sign up for an internship if you'd like a live radio show by clicking the button below

Recording studio equipment

STEP 3

When you pass the quiz (if not on your first try, email our Programming Director: pd@kamp.arizona.edu!), you will become a member of KAMP! You will receive follow-up information from the Programming Director via email on next steps and how to be involved in KAMP. 

Virtual Team Meeting

STEP 4

Come to our meetings Wednesdays 6-7PM! 

Meetings are held in

room 105 in McClelland Park (650 N Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85719).

REMINDER:

Take the quiz in the general member form (select NEW MEMBER) in order to get to step 3!
