Goldlink released this single with production from WaveIQ and bars featuring Peewee Longway. The instrumental is nothing crazy, very chill piano sample that continues throughout the entire song. I enjoy Goldlink’s flow, its a good contrast between his fast rapping compared to the calmer beat and chorus that repeatedly sings “I Got Muscle.” Longway’s verse as well brings an arrogant and flavorful element that became the star of the track for me. Both artists boast about their experiences with getting women and talking themselves up. Overall, it’s a pretty regular trap track with Goldlink’s subtle but impressive rap flow but is ultimately out-shined by Longway’s solid bars that bring much more energy then Goldlink. I enjoy the track but was expecting more from Goldlink and his regular content.
