Code Orange’s “Out For Blood,” is an energizing tune that will push you through any new or upcoming challenges that you may be faced with. With intense vocals, a fast and aggressive beat, and a killer guitar solo, this tune is perfect for finishing up a hard workout or motivating yourself to get through the last few projects of the semester. In terms of the lyrics, the song initially takes issue with fakeness, particularly within disingenuous alliances. The song goes on to emphasize the notion that things seem to be going in reverse because no one is willing to change their ways. Overall, Code Orange’s new single, “Out For Blood,” draws upon this Nu metal sound that greatly differs from previous albums such as Forever and I Am King. However, I am interested to see what direction the band will take following this single and recommend it to metal fans, particularly those of the new metal scene.
