I really enjoy the singer’s voice on this album. The effects on his voice are used tastefully, especially on the track Master. I was immediately curious about this album due to the digital feel and video game sounds in the background. The title track, Buoys, would appeal to those interested in more traditional indie music, whereas songs like Inner Monologue are more “out there” and have effects that sound like a human breathing. The guitar strumming with the various sound effects gets more experimental on the song Crescendo. Good music to be playing in a chill setting with psychedelic vibes.
