A Toast To The Greatest

The best to ever do it. A sad day in sports has come among us again. Renowned NHL Commentator Micheal “Doc” Emrick has retired from the booth after 40 seasons at the age of 74. Emrick, who was called a “national treasure” by NBC Sports executive producer Sam Flood, is leaving some of the biggest shoes to fill in sports. Over the course of his career he has called for 22 Stanley Cup Finals and won eight sports Emmys, including 7 straight dating back to 2014. A voice in hockey that is so iconic it may take a little time getting used to the new normal. Best of retirement, Doc!
