Wildcats Take Series Against #23 NorthEastern

Arizona (2-1) got the win against #23 Northeastern (1-2) to take the series on Sunday afternoon at Hi Corbett field.
Arizona was able to get to an early commanding lead going up 5-0 in the second inning. Easton Breyfogle was able to get the Wildcats on the board first with a RBI double, followed up by Brendan Summerhill, and Mason White driving in multiple scores too.
The Wildcats did not let up, scoring 3 more in the fourth inning including a two-run home run from Emilio Corona to put Arizona up 8-0. Brendan Summerhill was also able to drive in another score in the fifth inning with another double giving the Wildcats a commanding 9-0 lead that they would not give up.
Anthony Susac was able to pitch four innings holding Northeastern scoreless in all four, but the relief win when to Cam Walty who got his first relief win of the year.
Arizona looks ahead tomorrow to a single game against Utah Tech trying to stay hot against the Trailblazers with the first pitch being at 2:00 p.m MST
