"THE BLSSM" and "ROLE MODEL" 191 Toole Concert (4.26.22) | Photo Gallery

This was my first concert shooting the opener AND the headliner! The opening act, THE BLSSM, is a non-binary artist raised between NYC and Sydney, and now based in LA. Last year, they unveiled their debut EP 97 Blossom, which was primarily produced with the Brockhampton guys, that tackles subjects such as gender, anxiety, depression, finding oneself, and much more. They followed up the EP release by supporting both Remi Wolf and Wolf Alice on tour.

Everyone awaited for ROLE MODEL to come onstage after THE BLSSM's set. Since it's a small venue, there was no pit for the photographers to capture the artists properly and I had to squeeze my way through to be in front of the stage. In between song breaks, ROLE MODEL made Harry Styles references throughout the concert. It's interesting he started rapping early in his career and eventually transition to the pop genre. He's one of those few male artists who's not afraid to show their feminine side (or being a fanboy of boy bands!).
