Alex G is quite the character, known for showing up to his shows absolutely tossed. This show was no different. Alex G showed up after his opener and proceeded to melt down on one of his tracks, I don’t know what song it was but it was insane.
Kind of a bad video, but I feel like it gives exigence. Alex G’s career has followed quite an interesting path, with a larger amount of his fanbase only really listening to his older work. It was a unique experience to follow along as he played a mix of old classics and new bangers. I enjoyed seeing what he came out with for this show, and I already really appreciated his newest album, God Save the Animals. Thank you Alex G for putting on a great show in Phoenix, very cool.
